The image and object archival application has been designed to operate independently using the Microsoft Access JET database engine, or through ODBC to SQL database backbends, as well as presently being modified to operate with TITAN's TextPress SQL. Up to several hundred thousand TIFF, JPEG and FIF Fractal Images are stored as part of the system.

EDI Development for Gas and Fuel (GASCOR), Bentleigh

Configuration of Network infrastructure for mission-critical Mainframe cutover for Hitachi Data Systems

Our consultants were given the task of connecting a new mainframe from the same vendor at a geographically different location with a different IP address, and make network access available transparently. This "cut-over" had to be done in such a way that a reversion to the old system could occur with a minimum of effort, as the mainframe provided the core business and operating processes of our client.

Distributed TCP/IP Client/Server Business System for Telecom Australia

It is designed to give over 3500 Telecom customer service representatives across Australia immediate access to corporate data on client histories and accounts, and to perform order and billing updates on behalf of Telecom customers. The project was based on SQL based RDBMS, running HP-UX/9000 and NCR Tower systems.

Distributed Client/Server Document Imaging System for Kodak Australasia

We provided expertise in the development of a ground breaking TCP/UDP/IP based client/server document imaging system for Kodak. Initially developed on Sun workstation and server platforms, the system was successfully ported to the IBM RS/6000 platform running OSF/MOTIF, with near zero impact to the various server and daemon processes. The project involved the design and development of various daemon and image server processes for image capture and collation, the application communication protocol between imaging components and the Sun Xview clients under X Window for document scanning and quality control.

Client/Server Network IP Configuration Management System for Mobil Oil Australia Ltd.

Cybersource designed, implemented and managed this project, the purpose being to allow Mobil's national IP address allocation, subnetting strategy and network IP policy to be administered centrally, while delegating the responsibility for the day to day IP maintenance of the many remote Mobil sites to the sites themselves. This project also allowed each site to change/reconfigure IP addresses of PCs, terminal servers, printers and other nodes centrally from within the software, without the inconvenience of physically changing the configuration of individual machines, greatly streamlining support practices. During development the server was successfully ported between Intel, HP and Sun Unix systems with minimal effort and zero impact to the MS Windows client program, before being installed on the Sun Unix platform in production.

Client/Server Fault Management System for Corporate Support Groups
