allocPSA, the premier online Professional Services Automation solution,
has now been released as open source software under the popular GNU
General Public License (GPL). Businesses worldwide can now obtain
allocPSA, complete with source code, along with the right to modify that
code, free of charge.
"allocPSA is a suite of integrated applications (a Professional Services
Automation suite) designed for services-based organisations," said

existing invoicing, book-keeping and payroll systems, issue tracking,
messages, announcements, reminders and knowledge management,
collaboration, services supply chain, human resources and staff skilling
and management of cost-centres.

By default, allocPSA requires the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL & PHP)
application server stack for installation, but can be reconfigured for
use on other platforms. Cybersource also sells prebuilt allocPSA
servers, which come with all the hardware, software, services and
support a business needs to start using allocPSA.
