Cybersource Celebrates 10 years of Successful Operation

Celebrates 10 years of Operation.

In an industry with an often volatile nature, Cybersource feels proud to
announce that we have been in successful, profitable and continuous operation for
over 10 years.

Cybersource started as a business in May, 1991, in what amounted to fairly
unfavourable business conditions during the recession of that year. We believed
back then as we still do today, that there is a sizeable market for quality IT
professional services in Australia and in our region. Launching a successful
company in tough market conditions was a challenge we couldn't resist. Cybersource
begun by focussing on specific skill-strengths: Systems Administration,
Data-Networking, and Software Engineering of distributed applications, and with
specific platforms and technologies: Unix/Linux, TCP/IP, Internet and the Web.

We have grown steadily in this 10 year period, and acquired clients through
strong industry word-of-mouth.  We now service over 300 customers world-wide with
our 40+ staff. As an indication of our success, Cybersource has achieved its
current size through pure organic growth; we have invested heavily in the company,
and have never needed to seek venture capital or external funding.

Cybersource CEO, Con Zymaris commented: "We believe that we were perhaps the first
company in Australia to target the Internet as a business platform, way back in
1991. We were among the first companies to offer business IT services with TCP/IP,
the first to offer Linux and Open Source services, the first Australian company to 
hold a Linux business event (The Linux Business Breakfast, back in 1998) and the
first to offer Linux and Open Source training services."
