Press Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Cybersource Launches An Entirely New Idea In Network Backup

October 2002, Melbourne: Cybersource Pty. Ltd., a long-standing systems
technology company, has just released the Cybersource/DATASAFE network
backup device.

Cybersource/DATASAFE is an entirely new idea in network backup that
guarantees users in the Small-to-Medium-Enterprise space, peace of mind
by automatically archiving snapshots of a site's network servers on
a daily basis to the Cybersource/DATASAFE appliance.

Cybersource/DATASAFE can be installed in minutes and is managed through
a web-browser. And unlike tape backups, Cybersource/DATASAFE runs
completely unattended, securing your data against the risk of a
mislabeled tape or a forgotten backup. Best of all,
Cybersource/DATASAFE offers unbeatable purchase value, and by requiring
no regular maintenance, very low overall ownership costs.

And when it comes time to restore lost data, Cybersource/DATASAFE makes
data retrieval easy -- simply select the files you want the from archive
(using your web-browser) and click 'Download'. You can even select the
version and date of each file you want from the archive, going back
months or perhaps years.

In launching the Cybersource/DATASAFE appliance, Cybersource CEO Con
Zymaris commented "All computer users acknowledge the criticality of
backing up user-generated data, but to date, all the solutions for
protection against data-loss have been cumbersome, time-intensive or
expensive. With Cybersource/DATASAFE, we want to bring a viable,
unattended, high-capacity solution to market, at a price that even small
organisations can afford."

SCENARIOS

Cybersource/DATASAFE is best suited to three main classes of users.
Firstly, for a small business that doesn't have any backup system in
place at all, with perhaps 20-40 GB of data on its servers.
Cybersource/DATASAFE provides the simplest and most cost-effective way
to provide safety from data-loss in this scenario.

Secondly, for an organisation with 40-80 GB of server data which has
outgrown its existing tape backup system but is finding the cost to
higher-capacity tape solutions prohibitive. Cybersource/DATASAFE
provides the capacity needed, at less than half the cost of the
corresponding tape solution.

Finally, for organisations which run several Branch Offices which want
to centralise all backups at Head Office, but baulk at the likely
bandwidth charges, Cybersource/DATASAFE includes highly efficient remote
synchronisation technology, which allows for efficient centralisation of
data backups.

OFFSITE STORAGE MANAGEMENT SERVICE

Cybersource also offers an efficient offsite data-storage management
service which is linked through Cybersource/DATASAFE. Users who need to
ensure that critical data is not lost through fire or hardware theft,
can arrange to have some of their data automatically synchronised to an
offsite repository via a VPN tunnel over the Internet.

"By offering the combination of Cybersource/DATASAFE and the offsite
data-storage link, we hope to make business-grade data safety a viable
option for all organisations" added Zymaris.

FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS

Cybersource/DATASAFE is a totally self-contained server appliance
supplied as a rack mountable unit. It ships with either 80GB, 160 or
480GB of online archive storage. For most SME organisations, this should
provide enough storage space to offer between 3 and 36 months of daily
data repository facilities.

Cybersource/DATASAFE supports an unlimited number of users and servers.
It can also be expanded with more disk capacity. Cybersource/DATASAFE
uses proven file-difference storage technology to efficiently archive
hundreds of versions of any given file, on minimal extra space.

Cybersource/DATASAFE uses TCP/IP network protocols, and can operate with
standard Microsoft Windows Networking (SMB on Windows 95, 98, Me, NT,
2000, XP.) Contact Cybersource for Unix/Linux (NFS) and Apple Mac
support.
